Eeeerrmmm, well I must admit that I do not really visit S2 Forum too much but had some queries recently. I just came across your post by chance through Costash's project with the Cricket Green S2 Coupe.
Permission to droooool????
I have 3 Audi's, one of which is fairly new, but hte other two are a '95 cabby and a '99 A6 Avant, nothing special really, but they are mine nad I love to tinker with them. I though that the paint was a little tired on my cabby so it got the machine works done to it and came up something nice, but there are some bits that are looking tired and old due to not really being taken care of during it's life. The A6 on the other hand has a shine and sometimes a deep gloss on her that some people think she's either freshly painted or just well kept, it is the later of course, but was in a sorry state when we got her about 4 years ago. Anyway nuff bout mine.
I just fall in love with the classics each time I see them and when I seen your pictures….well it's highly impressive, and such an art too. I would love to bring my cabby down to your neck of the woods for a revamp of the paint, but I fear it may be costly, however soooo worth it when you see the end result…maybe go see the manager at my bank.
Anyway love to see these fantastic projects and look forward to seeing Costash's finished work too.
