Welcome. 52k? That must be one of the lower mileage S2's around.

Great to have you on board friend. I agree 52k is hardly run in! Most of us have three times that!
Looking forward to the pictures- we all like looking at pictures.

Welcome aboard Martin I have a feeling your S2 has been the topic of a few conversations of a very rare cricket green from the north east very rare and more so with that mileage!! Love to see some pics of this

Wow... such a nice car. So clean. And the color... I don't like green but this one is OK.
Seeing S2s like these makes me reconsider selling mine.
Please keep it stock... it's the best possible "upgrade" you can do to the car. And if you ever want to sell it, send me a PM first

That is gorgeous, the paint looks pristine. My badge is on the right hand side of the boot- any significance?

                      Welcome

I will have to get out my old paperwork as this could be the one I looked at back in late 2000. Cant be many cars in Cricket green with 35k on it.

Not wishing to seem negative but what put me off was it had no airbag steering wheel and advertised as a 96 car (I thought airbag wheels were standard from 94 - 96?) Don't know if it was the dealership it was in but me and my dad didn't have good feelings about the car

Glad the car turned out to be a good one I will see if I can find my paperwork for it

Yes I was wondering as well why it doesn't have airbag since it's a 1996 version?
Were aribags extra options (not standard) ?

That's an exceptionally tidy example, I'd have thought it should have an airbag steering wheel being a 1996 car. Maybe the first owner didn't like the airbag wheel much and preferred the early three spoke? If it was there then some signs of it should left.

Maybe it was possible to order one without an airbag.
