    vems map lambda-ignition

    I need your advice from experts regarding my VEMS map lambda and ignition table.
    i have a AAN engine with rs2 turbo, siemens deka 630cc,stock cams, wossner pistons. and arlows rods good for 800hp(cr 8:1) boostpressure 1.5 bar redline.
    I have programmed my ECU myself with ve-analyser and the car drives realy good.
    soon i go to place a gt3076r(0.63ar) with tubular exhaustmanifold on the engine and now is my question, can someone look at my posted lambda-ignitiontable that i use for now and maybe tell me were i best adapt the numbers?
    i think my lambda may stays the same but the gt30 gives more boostpressure so my ignitiontable should be adapt?
    after the turbo swap i program the car back with ve-analyser on the road and afterwards he goes on a dyno for fine adjustment

    thanks
    nick

    I'd say with 8:1 you could have gone higher timing already so my guess is that you should be fine

      what advantages does it have when I set the ignition higher? rpm is going faster up?
      probably the egt goes also higher?
      now my egt after turbo is about 800°c max

        More timing without knock equals more power the closer you get to the the MBT and threshold of your engine.

            Timing is engine efficiency. The earlier ignition timing you can run the more fuel burned is doing actual work of moving the piston and the less gets wasted as heat.
            Thus with increased timing EGT drops.

            But please be careful, as at some point it will start knocking and you can melt your engine.

              if i start with this ignitiontable for my gt30,is it bad for the engine?

                It's not bad at this stage. But you will probably be able to increase it. Seems safe to me.

                MBT= maximum brake torque timing
