Not new to the forum but been niggling on here for a while now thought ide start a thread on my ongoing project, i currently own a UR Quattro 20v im in the process of rebuilding a UR Quattro shell with wide arch panels thanks to tonks. Its a wr shell which i purchased a few years ago in the attention of restoring it as i already have a 20v ive decided i wanted something different the looks of a UR but wider, any input will greatly be appreciated here is a picture of my current UR on the way back from being mapped by prj to rs2+ spec will uploading pictures of my project shortly.

He had one of the first mb/ur's to hit our shores, left hand drive if I remember correctly

For what this cost me so far I could have bought an S2

A little update the bare shell was bought back to bare metal
Before it started it looked like this

After removing all sealer and rust the next step was to clean the shell down and then two coats of anti rust primer was applied underneath

The next stage was to reinforce all jacking points for extra strength and we're also seam welded, all rust patches was cut out and replace with fresh metal

The next stage in process was 1 coat of epoxy anti rust paint follow by 10 litres off seam sealer applied to the entire underside of the body including flitches, engine bay and inside cabin, once that was dry a further 6 litres of epoxy mastic was then applied, hopefully should last another decade
