New s2 avant owner

Hi folks, although I signed up to the forum a number of years ago I have never really been an active member. I signed up when I had my b3 16v 80 quattro I think. Also had a b4 2.8 80 but never had an s2 until now. I've bought matts2's silver avant. I have been looking for one for a while and although I'm a sucker for a project I wanted something decent with a good history that I could use daily (although I work away half the year and we have a c6 a6 as a family car). Matts car fit the bill perfectly as it has been modified almost exactly the way I would have done it, has an excellent history and is in almost unbelievable condition given its age. It really is a credit to matt and the previous owners. I've got no major plans for the car at the minute, the left front caliper has a sticky pot and the fan soleniod is sticking a bit so those will be first on the list. Despite that my first couple of days back in an 80 have been awesome!

Looks like an awesome car you have.

As said would be great to see you and your car at Dunkeld on Sunday 19th October. Currently about 10 cars signed up for a run over the hills to Stonehaven. Mixture of S2 and other Audis including a RS2 coming.
