New to this forum - looking for a S2

Hi,

I am new to this forum and am looking for an S2, unfortunately its not really for me, but a friend sadly. They are old and not internet savy so have left the looking to me.

After looking about for a while and reading a fair bit on here, think we might have found one which ticks most of the boxes, but wondering if anyone knows the car before i make the call and then what could be a long trip to see it

Its a black advant, reg L283 ENP

Was wondering if its on here and if there is a build thread?

Welcome... one idea is to indicate where it is in the country... there is a good chance someone locally on the forum can give it the once over and advise if its worth the trip... We are a generally friendly and helpful bunch like that.

Hi mark , the black s2 you are referring to I's a sound car its mint been very well looked after there's nothing needs doing to it perfect buy if you ask me good luck

That car belongs to me

There is no build thread as I don't really have the time and usually just go about my own business.

The engine in the car is @ 71K and came from this car http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=65006

Gearbox has 130K as I replaced that too (sorry no link but it came from another that I broke)

Has H&R Springs (yellow), Koni adjustable Shocks
Black Leathers, Black Headlining inc RS2 door pulls
3" Turbo back Militeck Exhaust System
18" S8 Avus's with 225/40/18 P-Zeros (front) and P-Nero (rear)
Blue Plasma Dials
HID's
Hella Black Rear Lights inc Centre Panel (suits the volcanic black colour)
Cruise Control
Homefried 280BHP

Pulls well through all the gears and drives spot on.

The car itself is not in anyway perfect and does need some minor cosmetic remedial to suit yourself, this does not stop it performing as it should as has been maintained well.

As stated I am in no rush what so ever to sell the car as it brings a smile to my face every time I use it.

When you say that your friend is old I was wondering how old. Nursing home old, pensioner old or not boy racer old? Or all three?
