Many people with great advice and info too, you will get good assistance I'm sure. Need pictures of your car too, I think that's the rule (unwritten).

We had 2 b4 80's, one went real well after changing the basics plugs leads dizzy rotor and air filter, changed the oils and was a fantastic driver, which was written off when she spun and went backwards up a grass verge bending a lot of metal, and insurance said too expensive to repair, I was at work in Germany at the time, so dd not have the chance to assess myself, but the wife went and bought another one in a wierd green colour, I'd never seen before, now she was a lot of trouble to get working misfiring and not starting so a lot of time to try to fix and all it was turned out to be the timing was slightly out!! Go figure!! Your b3 looks like it has been well looked after though, here are a few pictures of ours. The center caps were off because I hasd to tap out the threads to screw the lock nut back in, and just wanted to get pics of her, my wife misses this one the most. After the problems were sorted we knew it would run forever. The guy we sold her to scrapped her because there was water coming into the drivers side, jsut he'd not known about the gromet near the fuse box, and scrapped her....the wife wanted to punch him...
