    New enthusiast from Romania

    Hello everyone.
First of all, I apologise for my crappy english writing. And you didn't heard me talking.

I'm from Romania, Timisoara more precise. I'm daily driving an 1993/4 Audi 80 TDI saloon. Nothing impressing. I own two more in my scrapyard-like backyard so i have plenty of spares.
    My family owns the following:
-b3 audi, former 1.6 diesel, 1.9 diesel transformed.
-audi 200 2.2 turbo quattro (name only) with an impressive 2.0l diesel engine swap. The owner didn't knew what engine the car had and i think he dumped it at the garbage. Still a decent car at winter, even with the remaining smokey horses.
    -skoda octavia ..boring
-and a few audis that are making their own way under the ground.(one audi 100 2.3e, few b3)

    And about me:
I'm an car parts salesman. Son and brother of car mechanics. So I must have knowledge about the industry. Well, the more I learn, the more i realise that i know too little.
I'm a bit of perfectionist but this quality cannot be seen at my car. But I hope that I can change this.

My 80 is going through hard times. 300 km weekly on romanian roads, carrying a dog few days a week on the backseat. Parts falling off but decied to give it a chance since I can't afford my dreamcar as an daily driver.
So i decided to give it a chance, transforming it in something that i can brag about.

I will make a topic in projects area for my car.

    Thank you for your existance!

I know both rs2's but not the owner or owners.. One of them looks stock (which is pristine) but the other looks kinda fishy (like it was an regular avant with rs parts swapped, and few aftermarket tuning parts where no OE was available).

Not sure about the engines. I saw both cars in many locations nearby my county (which means that the owner is still alive), but none of the drift/drag/tire burning events or in places where people who own that kind of cars meet. And everywhere i saw one of the cars, it was standing like an abandoned car.

No one saw or heard the car running, nor the driver, so there is a slight mistery around it.

Some pics from the wheels that motivate me to do something with the car. I had them from an Audi V8 but without center caps. Still i've managed to cover the center hole with caps from another rims.

              Mods until now:
              Audi v6 driveshafts
              audi v8 hubs and bearings
              Eibach springs Prokit
Sachs Advantage sport suspension (only on front, rear is obsolete)
314cm diameter a6 brakes on front with calipers also, custom brake lines, rear is from b5 a4
16 inch bbs rg043 (very very lightweight)
215/55r16 xl momo outrun m3 tires
Reinforced bushings for front arms and shock mount (meyle hd) but the old ones were actually more "reinfoced" than this ones.

however, the car is a pig to drive. the rear suspension (single axle) is absolute crap on twisty roads. The front bushings wear very quickly due to wheel size and sport suspension. Also the rear is wider than the front and stability issues are present. So i'm kind of dissapointed.

The next mods are..well..too many. I think i could easily buy an s2 with that amount of money
