Greetings from Finland

Hello all,

I've been reading topics for a few months now and I think it's finally a good time to introduce myself.

So, I'm Janne, 27 years old maritime engineer from Turku, Finland. I love Audis, bikes and boats and because this is pretty obviously an Audi forum, I think I'll introduce my babes right away.

My daily driver is the red Urs6 with the only correct engine Audi has made.
It has some mild mods, RS2 manifold, ACE comp chip, 3" exhaust with race cat and intake, about 320hp and 450nm torqs, I think it's ok for a daily driver.. for now.. Plan is to double those horses some day.

Wifes daily driver is A4 avant S-line, with 2.0TFSI and quattro. It's completely stock and has 220hp/350nm. Nothing special but just fast enough to bring beers home cold.

Then there's an UrS6 avant which is actually a spare car for red urS. It had a little crash few days before christmas but it's still fully drivable, just needs some time to fix.
It has 290hp/400nm,

Last and least is the Coupe -90. It's a car for occations when nothing else works. K-jet and 1.8 8v engine = World ends before it does.

I think Audi made couple more good engines but 5pot is obviously best

Some of you have requested some additional info of that red urS, so:

The red looks really good, and really familiar, have you bought that from north of Sweden?

Yes I have. Actually drove that all the way from northern Sweden to here in south Finland (about 900km in a day) everything went well, except that because of faulty lambda sensor it was pretty annoying to drive.

Yes, it has bilstein shocks and H&R springs, about 60/40 lowering. Unfortunately I don't know the detailed specs of the shocks/springs. I can tell that it's very nice to drive though, stiff enough for everyday driving witout being annoying.

Other specs of the urS. It has seen approx. 267000km and has a full service book from the beginning, which is pretty rare in these cars.
Electric leather seats with memory, electric windows, AC etc.. and everything works. No rust and paint is in a very good condition, which is even more unlikely in these cars.

I have owned this for a couple of months now and I'm very happy with it. Only thing is that I'm not completely sure if I like that ACE comp chip. Under 4000rpm = nothing and after 4000rpm = It's fun for some time but after that it becomes almost annoying. Well.. We'll see what future brings to us

Is your car Missano red?? I can't tell from that picture or maybe it's a solid red? Looks great.

Thats a nice car, was about to buy that aswell as good S6 cars don't groenon threes. But as i already have one plus my daily driver car, street bike and snowmobile i needed to pass. i really regret that but hey at least it in good hands you should change that lambda and get a real chip instead.

Is your car Missano red?? I can't tell from that picture or maybe it's a solid red? Looks great.

I think it's "Tornado red", LY3D is the color code.

Maybe, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna change the chip to something else, according to my information there's a guy in Finland who's pretty good with tuning old S-audis, I think I'm gonna contact him at some point. Regarding airbox and new filter, I'm pretty sure this current filter is there for the sound and that original (or RS2 one, is it possible to fit?) is in my todo list

Sounds familiar, I have 3 motorbikes and two boats in addition to these cars I bought a new lambda on my way home when I bought this car but I didn't have the needed tools to change it on the road. Changed it immediately when I came to home.

As a swedish guy, do you know if ACE Comp chip has a bad reputation in Sweden? I think it's a swedish company but it's very difficult to find any information about it.

Sorry have no experience of that brand, i know many people that runs with sms revo chips but I rather have a vems box instead so you know whats going on and you can alter everything as you move along with updates

Ok, thanks anyway. I have also considered VEMS and other aftermarket boxes. So far I'm just collecting parts and maybe I just have the original Motronic tuned to a new setup when everything else is done. Accoding my information, user Porkkis is a pretty good with Motronic.
