Hi there,

I have just recently bought a 1994 RHD Audi RS2 Polar Silver

The only other Audi I have previously owned was a UR quattro back in 2007. (and an A6 TDi in 2004) so am pretty new to these cars.

I have an initial question, which is:

Which insurance company is usually best for these cars? Can they be insured as a classic?

There are a few good threads here and those that offer discounts for forum members such as Chris knott, Adrian flux, Sky insurance etc. I usually find these or Aplan Thatcham scheme are best for me.

Welcome too, was it the silver one for £12995 you have purchased?

Yes, it is Dan's car that I have purchased. Viewed it on friday and will collect this friday. Just looking for insurance. I will give adrian flux etc a ring tomorrow!

Really beautiful car (right color too). Might want to look to Carbondesign for the updated lower trims. Carbon fiber looks like the way to go for these.
