Given that the B4 Audi 90 in North America (1994-96) never came with anything but the V6 and the front subframe for the V6 was different than both that of the five cylinder subframe and the four cylinder subframe (not available in NAmerica), how did you handle the engine and transmission mounts with that 2.0L turbo swap? (BTW This *does* seem like the best option for Stephan)

it is a 1.8t. the 2.7t doesn't fit in its stock form, you would need custom manifolds and custom turbo locations.
@Dave, the subframe is the same from v6 to I5 in a b4. the b4 is different from the b3, but only in regards to one of the transmission mount HEIGHTS (same position, just higher). the bigger issue is engine mounts, the I5 has welded on tabs to the frame rails for the engine mounts, the v6 has bolted on mounts that are in a different location. to put in the i5 in the b4 v6 engine bay you need to either make custom engine mounts for the i5, or weld in the b3 sheet metal mounts for both engine and radiator.Comment

I *was* going to call my good friend Kate, the friendly parts girl, a lying b**ch but apparently I just need to read better.
What I saw initially was the that the 6, 5 and 4 cylinder engines all had different subframes,i.e. 8A0199313BC, 313BB and 313AF respectively. What I failed to notice was when the 5 cylinder was coupled with the CGR 01E 6 spd transmission, then the 5 cylinder subframe was the same as the V6 313BC subframe, as you have now skooled me on. Thanks.
