    Hello from the Mutterland

    Hi Guys and Gals,
    ´
i´m Tim from Germany, 31 Years old and in the car "game" for around 15 years now.

Started with a VW Golf MK2. After that I had around 11 other VWs and a 190E Benz.

I didn´t wanted to start a new project but got the car for free so let´s go for it.

Which car do I mean? It´s an Audi Coupe from 89 with the good ol´2.3 NG Engine.

Whats the plan for the car? Seems to be a good restauration with the new paint, engine overhaul and new interior first, followed by some major modifications so as Airride, which is already ordered and in the making, pdc change to 5x112 (all items are at home) and new seats and steering wheel and a few other bits. Wheels are original Axia Gotti with bbs gold powder coated centers and polished lips. Size is 9x17 et 20 & 10x17 et 20 for the rear with 2 degrees of camber.

The Rieger bumper is already sold and an S2 Bumper is sitting at home.

I´m a bit unsure about the colour. Its going to be the original lago metallic or alpinweiß III from BMW. Don´t know yet.

Attached some pics with the new seats and steering wheel testfitted.

New seats look so much better that the originals. Are you going to keep the engine a non turbo or convert along the way?

          Air suspension and racing seats?
I prefer the old seats personally.
          Like the wheels though

Thanks, had them seats in my old Golf MK4 with air and stuff.

I´ll keep the motor as it is first, but of course I will have an eye on an 2.2T later. First get the base solid.

Yeah, thats not what everybody likes but I love it. As meantioned, I had this Race/Stance theme in my old MK4 back in 2013. There will be also a cage in the car.
            Big plans

Yesterday, I got all the bits for the 5x112 converion in the mail, also the camber shims from epytec came in.

Edit: Hubs and Damperhousings are going to the sandblaster today.
