Hi all can anyone advise when I can get some new abs sensors form,my abs light is staying all of the time and reading through past threads this seams a good place to start , any advice appreciated

    Hello,

I would recommend first to check the signals of all four sensors instead of changing them.
The fault could also be a broken impulse ring.

We talked about a similar problem in this thread.

These can be used to fit front of S2.

Audi A4 quattro V6 rear abs sensor fit to B4 Quattro V6 with some cable work.
Modification fits also to audi S2 sedan / Audi S2 avant quattro
Use all support rubber sleeves from old sensor and cut old sensor connector + about 20cm old wire
and connecting that wire piece to the new A4 abs sensor wire kit:
brown to brown and black to black wire. Most probably same mod should work with 3b s2 by using correct cut cable length

delphi part number for A4 abs sensor is SS20038 KF 11 A

            picture:
            https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/delphi-1768972.html

Delphi part good price compared to old original audi part. Highly recommended. Saved my day today when rear wheel bearing
was changed and old abs sensor died in the removal. The copper sleeve
            https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/feb...n-1874927.html

that is in the sensor installation hole is supposed
to help in removing keeping the abs sensor in place but rust makes it sit so tight that from old cars the
abs sensor or sleeve is difficult to remove as one working piece.

Those clamping sleeves were £10 each when I asked at TPS. I think it was land rover parts. Co. UK that I ended up using. They were around £10 for a bag full! It was quite a while ago I got them so can't find any details or link but it was definitely a land rover part so it should be easy to track down...
