    Time to start my project thread, after 4xcoupes 1xs6 and 1xabandoned s2 project its time to knuckle down and actually finish something.

    I purchased an unfinished project from a forum member a few months ago and ive finally got some time to start moving in the right direction, here is a list of work being carried out some finished some not.

    Car details:
    1995 s2 coupe
    Kingfisher blue
    Standard bodywork
    Beige nappa leather interior late style

    Mods so far:
    Plasma guages
    Hid kit
    cck shock adjustable platform suspension
    Promounts
    HD Engine mounts
    HD Transmission mounts
    Alloy subframe Mounts
    Whiteline rear anti roll bar with brackets mounts and drop links
    Rs2 front anti rollbar
    Delrin wishbone bushes front/rear

    Parts not on car:
    Oil water line kit
    Wheel stud kit
    Tial waste gate
    Gaskets bolts e,c,t

    I am planning for upwards of 450bhp the car is going to be a weekend track toy but i want to end up with a nice finish for shows e,c,t when i pick up the car i am going to strip and powdercoat various bits, im planning on fitting recaro speed seats in the front and retriming the interior to suit, i am in talks with various people concerning the engine build and progress is good, i will update when i finally pick up the car, sorry no pics at the moment

            Just a quick update still no pics

            Engine build is well underway cheers Aelred Excellent service


            Rs2 cylinder head macined and ported
            JE racing pistons with total seal rings
            Scat Conrods
            ARP head bolts
            Titanium valves
            Lightened and balanced botom end
            7A cams
            Additional water mods to bottom end

            Im picking the car up early november cant wait!
            Im still undecided on the intake and intercooler although the kit from Wagner looks like a good setup.
            Still need:
            Samcos
            Rs2 front bumper
            Rs2 Mirrors
            Lower door sills
            Recaro speed front seats
            Black interior carpet
            Carbon Pillars
            Boost guage
            MTM Bimotos
            Arch work
            E.c.t E.c.t E.c.t

                  @ Acidburn, Arch work is on hold at the moment as i still cant make my mind up on wheels..

                  @Bram, Turbo is a Garret gt3071r bb

                    I saw you picking this up..........i turned up in a white sprinter when the recovery truck was loading it. Good luck with the project and keep the updates coming with pics.
                    Just some finishing touches to do now

                      I was going to order the recaros last week and stumbled on these on ebay, as far as i can see from pictures of the MTM rsr these are the same seats which should give the car a nice genuine look. now ive got to find or build some subframes.

                        I can remmember seeing a white van, that was my mates recovery truck cant believe its still going 275000 on the clock, very handy vehical though.

                          Made a start today im striping down the car to have various bits welded and coated and removing the suspension legs for a coilover conversion, heres some pics of the break conversion without the wheels the fronts really are huge im hoping they dont bend anything...

                            How are you doing the handbrake on the rear brakes?

                              Are these GT3 blocks on a 323mm disc?
