There's an Amethyst RS2 on Cup 2s that's been mentioned on here before.

LOL @ Fatty, any excuse to put a picture up.

Cam belt might loosen over the first few miles, possibly need retightening at worst?

so the plugs warm up differently once they've bedded in ?

Well I have not done a cambelt on my s2 as its not needed it but on cars i've had before when i've took them to have them done (rather have someone I can complain to if something goes wrong) they have always said take it easy for a bit.

I'm only going by what I've been told as like I say I don't change my cambelt.

                          Well what an interesting day!!!
Car had already been chipped? but Doug squeesed a little more out of it.Apparently it had been fitted with a S6 chip? no probs found on the engine health check..the only thing he had to replace was the dv.
Very happy with it all and a big thank you to Doug and his great service.

Make sure to run-in the new software there... Those chips are very sensitive and the electrons have to gently work out how to move from pad to pad inside the chip. The new software means the electrons have to travel further so it takes a while for them to learn how to do that.
