    Missed that bit

Was the 900 T16s not a T3 turbo and if so, why do you need 8 injectors to get 270bhp when a Sierra Cosworth manages 290 on completely standard kit (stage 1)? That must also have given the world's reserve of torque steer? Also noticed that the 900 turbo Carlsson weighs 1290kgs according to carfolio. Not too bad compared to todays obesity epidemic ridden cars but a fair bit for the era. (ignoring the S2 though ).

(Insert swear work that the Gestapo swear filter has removed with ****) it though, it's still bloomin' cool!

Stock Turbo is T3 trim 45 or Mitsu Te05.
I fitted a 9000 Aero TD04 to mine, reason i went for 8 injectors was initially i ran larger 30lb/hr injectors on the stock Bosch LH2.2 set up, this wasnt ideal so i ran the stock 21lb/hr injectors and ran the 30lb/hr with the Mf2 injector driver.
Meant i got smooth as silk OE driveability off boost then at 5psi the MF2 would add additional fuel.
Seeing as the MF2 cost me nowt it was a cheap way to get mapped fuelling.
270bhp/300lb/ft and that was at Emerald which are known to be pretty damn accurate, a 4.5 litre Chimera makes 240 on his rollers .
Since i sold it guy has fitted a full 3" system - i had a 3" downpipe and pretty much stock after that - guessing around 280 now.

      Pete.

Cool. Had a feeling that it might be a sequential setup. Accurate rollers are always good

Oh and 3 spokes can look good on some cars - my old 270bhp MF2 8 injector FMIC'd water injected T16S

Snap. I had a blue T16S with the 16'' 9000 alloys tuned by Abbott Racing. Great car which I still see around in a sad state. Sold it to get my S2 coupe in 1997.

Oh Dear - Abbott Racing - dont get me started on them.
Rip off merchants is a brief summary.
Ive never been impressed in a car set up by them and some of their workmanship leaves a lot to be desired and ive had a few of their cars through my hands.
Gearbox rebuilds that go bang, their own custom 300 quid springs cut down with a grinder when the ride height is all wrong, engine rebuilds destroying themselves in 3000 miles, quotations skyrocketing when customers collect their cars etc etc.
They are still trading on their name a few years ago - only problem is now alot of other companies are offering far superior goods and customer service.

            Pete.
