I doubt that the car shown is an S6+. Wrong wheels. Wrong interior. No engine photos. Most likely an A6 Estate/Avant (unless there are other signs that I am missed).

Damn. Wish I'd researched it before posting about my discovery to the whole world!
Seems like for starters the Plus didn't have any chrome brightwork and (certainly according to the German brochure I found) was only available in Misano Red and Nogaro Blue. And then of course there's that small matter of them only being available from late '96 onwards ...
All you ever needed to know here.
