  • ECU chipped

    Hi,
So I opened up my ecu, and it looks to have been chipped. What do I have?
Does anyone recognise this set-up or the name on the box?
What do I need to do to get the best from it?
    Any suggestions appreciated.

Sorry if the pic wasn't clear. The name is David Ewan, in Perth.

If you can read the ECU details in Vagcom, that might provide the answer.

The map sensor looks standard,Bosch 250kPa.
            How can I access Vagcom?

If it’s a stock MAP sensor it will just be a stage one chipset for the stock turbo.

                OK.
I'm guessing then I should be looking for 1.8 boost and about 280hp with this.
At the moment it boosts to 1.4/1.6max bar.
Do I need a stiffer spring and/or unplug the N75..?
My nearest rolling road tuner is about 150 miles away!
                cheers.
