Hi everyone, my S2 3b can't start. The car is dead beacuse plastic gear of distributor broked, now i changed it and not start. G4 is ok, but i have 5v in (pin +) and (pin 0) ever without intermittent. Anyone can help me?? thanks
Is timing correct and set to TDC on cylinder 1 compression stroke?
You have to Dizzy marks against Zero mark on flywheel.
Assuming the timing belt is correct, if you have any doubts then check the marks on the cam sprockets too.
When you line the Zero mark up in the bell housing window, do it by rolling the car forward in gear, so the backlash is taken up in the right direction, 3Bs are very sensitive to this being set correctly.
