Boost leak / manifold leak ???

    Hi Guys,

the old RS2 is getting a bit of use recently, been sitting for a while. Bur now I think I have either a boost leak or a manifold leak... under acceleration I can hear guite a loud wooosh sound, the turbo is building boost and power is a bit flat but the sound is off putting... I suspect an induction leak somewhere. Would have expected low boost if it’s a boost leak but the gauge is showing about 1.2 bar? I have a video which I will post but would appreciate any clues ???

    thanks

    p

Out here in the country we have a big problem with rodents .
They haven't eaten anything in my S2 (yet) but have damaged a few of my cars here over the years.
I keep a couple of traps in them these days.

Thanks to the hands on assistance of Newsh the problem was found to be the hose from the intercooler to throttle body/ISV. Lucky I had a new one spare and so was able to fix it on the spot ! Also identified the O ring at the base of the dipstick was leaking too, that’s tomorrow’s job....

                  Thanks again Newsh !
