yes aby 6 speed,earliest version is a 3b and its 5 speed.

If it's a 3b do you think its cheap?and even if a poorly one would it be worth spending a few grand sortin it(worst case sinario)?

Unless its got something seriousley wrong with it i reckon its good price for a 3b,if its a 6 speeder your laughing.

I suspect it may be a 3b then,,but still a superb car tho and look forward to owning it.
Has the 6speeder got any interior or exterior differences to the 3b,i know this one has black leather,was that an option on both models?

Hey good luck with the car.... bought my 6-speed ABY a year ago and have loved every drive.

I'm not much good with spanners on such a complicated engine (well it looks complicated to me) - but there's plenty of help and advice on this forum from major modding to little things any plonker can do.

BUT be warned I keep seeing threads from people saying they've had ongoing probs with these cars... one guy said his S2 is now running right for the first time in THREE YEARS!!! The good side is there's usually someone here who can help.

AND it's not cheap... 22mpg with sensible driving, and expensive Audi parts...

BOTTOM LINE... I LOOOOVE my S2 ...the look, the drive, the quality build...and of course the fact that so few other fast car drivers know what it's capable of means you have the element of surpprise!!!
