"ersatzlos gestrichen" ... parts you can´t get anymore
I hold a senior position in a FTSE100 company (for my sins) i probably sign off the ordering of about 40 Audi's a year, makes me wonder if i should black ball Audi's. Ignorance can be an expensive mistake...
If you need support from Italy i'm glad and ready to help you.
one the first aim of Audi Sport Club Italia (i'm the President) it's to gather all the RS2s that are still on the road in Italy at the moment we have 9 RS2's owners in the Club.
I believe that not more then 70/80 RS2s are still running in Italy.
From the 180 (believed) delivered in the productions years.
I'm in contact with Daniel Bachmann in Switzerland and we have been talking about this a couple of times, we believed that the Audi Club International was the Audi company sector that was ment to take charge of this issue, spare parts for heritage/collectable Audi cars.
But aftera visit to Audi Tradition in Ingolstadt last february i don't believe that anything good will happen on the Audi Club International for our problems...
Think about this:
President and VicePresident of an Italian Club (our last meeting was on SKY television..in Italy) visiting Audi Tradition and the Boss manager of the department Thomas Stebich..... spoke to us for three 3 minutes on a corridor.... standing...... speaking of nothing in the end of it....
I believe that Daniel Bachmann (i'm sure you know him) has with you some others good connections to work with.
I'm going to be in Grusch Switzerland in June it would be nice to meet each other there.... Bachmann will bw there aswell.
If the pressure has to be made i reckon that it will be the best to have voices from all over Europe.
I wrote in here time ago about this weird feeling that an RS2 owner has around Ingolstadt.... it seems like they don't want the car around.
I'm sure that Porsche in Zuffenhausen will not be better....
If you need anything conceirning this issue please do not hesitate to contact me

As the owner of several "heritage" Audis I'm very concerned about the situation with parts for the older cars. The moral amongst urquattro owners in the US has fallen to an all time low due to lack of parts to keep our cars roadworthy. Also, my RS2 America project has opened my eyes to a multitude of parts that I can no longer purchase new from Audi. It is inexcusable that I cannot find parts for a car that has been out of production only 12 years. Porsche or Audi.....I don't care who built it. If it was a Porsche 100% I could probably find parts for it. I wonder if owners of a new R8 will have the same problems in 12 years.
I founded and ran the Georgia chapter of the Audi Club North America for over 8 years. I'm still very connected to the national club and would love to head up a push from the US.
I will also be in Grusch next month for the Treffen and would love to be involved in your conversation with Mr. Bachmann. Hopefully a simultaneous push from several fronts will have an impact? Look forward to speaking with you in Switzerland.
I just started the internet site and need "members or joiners". I need this people to be listed with Name / Country and Car Model. I want to open a huge list of these people and as soon as i arrived 1000 people i am also legally able to do something, but i need your help.
The site www.help-20vturbo.com is in construction and will be modernized from week to week. I need your help in the missing parts always only the part number and maybe the color code if necessary. The "joiners" should please give me all their details through my email adress and we will do something!
Again also to you. I will not stop. I collect these cars and i am not stupid to let them make me drive around with no trims or steering wheel of another car.
Let us hold together, every idea is welcome. In july i will visit higher people from audi. I will do my best and update every single step. Also my letters will be posted and done officially.
I'm still slightly reeling about trying to get hold of a brand new intercooler pipe to throttle body hose from Audi UK. They ordered the wrong one 3 weeks ago, a pipe that was for the ISV turned up Thursday, so I showed them again what I was after and I was told it would be in this morning. So guess what, went this morning to pick it up and it hasn't arrived.
Now bear in mind, its a 13 mile journey each way, so thats 52 miles since Thursday for absolutely ****** all.

Ok no problem see you in Grusch then!
I'll be on a Polar Silver RS2....... probably the only one with Italian plates.
But in any case i will send you my mobile no in PM
For Eddie:
I write also on Audiclassiche (urquattro and all pre 1991 Audis) forum in Italy and i will be with their group for a Audi Meeting tomorrow and i will tell them about what you're doing.
It seems that the turn signals in the front bumber (in german called "Blinker"... sorry, i don't know the right term in english) from the ur/sportquattros are no longer available too.
You mean 437 953 049 / 050 ?? I can check this for you. The Audi 200 has the same part and it should be available in the Aftermarket through Hella, Pocan or Seima. This should be absolutely no problem at all! Check your local aftermarket dealer and give him this numbers.
That is the right part Number. I searched at "www.q-11.de" a big online spare parts seller, ... no way to find it here either
Now i'll try to get it from an aftermarket dealer here in Lux.
Fritschki S2 Coupe 1995, VW T3 1987, Coupe 85q 1986 (over 4oooookm  ), CQ swb - big HP - project in planning:shhh:
that is very good Eduard!I have come across some parts no longer available but as i dont have etka with me on my laptop i cannot remember the part number.I will get etka again soon and let you know.I know that the plastic part that goes at the lower door hinge with double tape that glues on what you call in german the seitenwellen. That is gone,i bought the last part off AUDI in germany...
great thread, I'll be joining and more than happy to help put some pressure on the brand to turn hot air about helping preserve the heritage into something tangable.
I think in the UK, once a good number has been reached, some publicity through Audi Driver would be useful, not least to drive others to the petition and increase the weight of the arguement.
I think the net has a wider audience than audi driver, i have no idea where to buy it now. Just think of the number of audi forums there are out there and how many members there are too.
Very good idea, but it should maybe be in english for a more international presence, i just got to Audi dealer and told me joint from inside door panels, at extremity of sliding windows are not available anymore too !
