I got my Dad to drop me and the missus off at a restaurant on Saturday night, as we were going to be drinking. The Audi was across the drive so he took us in that.

As soon as we got out of the car, my Dad realised I'd never heard it from outside and promptly hoofed it away in 1st and it sounded awesome!

Very chuffed! How ace are Audi 5-pots?!

Thats why I slapped some video's of mine up on youtube showing what mine sounded like outside, it does sound ok but tbh there's not much of a noise from the front.

yeah i got my better half to rag mine a while back and you're right, they sound great plenty of pops and bangs from the exhaust too

I used to pop the window down sometimes just so I could hear it, very sad of me... The Milltek made a big difference tho, sounds much better than the stock exhaust.

No shame in having the window down and listening to it in my opinion. Mine is running a Milltek exhaust and a Pipercross panel filter, not mega noisy, just nice.

I didn't realise my car looked so good until the missus drove it away one day. have to say she looked pretty good too. hot chick in a coupe does it for me every time. she's having a go in the s2 this week before I sell it. I better control myself

When myself or my mates get a new car there is a stretch of road that we use to do fly-bys to hear what they sound like! Usually done before the first wash, very mature I'm sure you'll all agree!

absolutely mate. But I think you'll agree a forum for boys that refuse to grow up and who spend vast sums of money on pretty impractical vehicles is never going to attract the kind of maturity that values a nice tweed jacket and a glass of port. I could be wrong though.
