In my opinion there is nothing to be gained by fitting wheels over 8"s wide to an S2 that you want to use on the road day to day. Wider rims/tyres tend to make the car pick up on seams in the road ect, ie tram lining.

They look nice, but the BBS are that bit nicer again. Can you not get them in 8"X 18??

The real deal BBS items are the absolute nut's!! Light weight and super strong. If I were to buy a set for my Coupe I would go for a 7.5"X17" ET 33 running a 215/225,45 tyre.

8.5 rims on an ET35 clear all the suspension and steering on a standard S2 Coupe. That is what I run.

I suspect that ET40 will be too close to the steering arm.

ET30, you would need to check the arch clearances, as others have already pointed out.

                        HTH.

                        Cheers,

                        Steve.

they look nice and a bit different from the usual alloys fitted.

so are they the one's your going to stick with?
