Thanks Sidspud, I'd say the pics aren't Photoshopped but who knows? They also mention something that doesn't make much sense to me for the new RS4, a twin-turbo V8 engine with only 400 HP, that would only be 20extra HP vs. the old one, while the new S4 got 344HP instead of 265 in the old one...

dunno, sounds promising anyway, but the weird thing is that there's no pic of the engine bay and I can't figure how the heck they've fitted a twin-turbo V6 under the newA3's hood. I know KC from QST has done an RS4 transplant into an S3 but he's put the whole driveline in as well.

    cheers,

Alot of the reasoning behind using turbo's more and more on current day cars is to meet stricter emissions regulations which will be coming in over the next few years, but with the tunability of electronics audi are bound to get more claims if they cant detect if a car has been tuned and has worn the turbos out.

Personally I LIKE the look of the new Audi's. The new grille/mouth looks aggressive and certainly a lot HARDER looking than BMW recent attempts (which I like but its a lot softer).

The New A3 looks great in dark colours but a bit weak in light ones.

            Just my 2p's worth...

It's starting to grow on me too. Funny how they gradually introduce it to us to keep us from rejecting the transplant.

Oh, and then theres that RS6 - you dont wanna know what I do everytime I see that beast

@Minhea: The RS3 is a twin turbo version of the narrow angle 3.2V6 found in the current TT V6 and the Mk4 Golf R32 - quite feasible as there have been home brewed twin turbo VR6's in Mk2 & Mk3 Golfs.
