I bougt a set of scruffy RH ZW1,s and have fixed them up now except the final polish. Now i have just taken it for granted that they will fit, but i have got the porsche/A8 brake setup and they bloody wont go on the front. i need at least a 10mm spacer. What should i do?? The are 17",s that are 8 or 8,5 wide with ET 60. Is there anything i can do or is it just to sell them on?? I really want theese on the car...
I think you can get some different lips from RH that can change the ET but it depends on the rim, I think it needs to be able to go into 3 pieces and not just 2 pieces.
its not the dish thats the problem, its the center of the wheel that hits the brake caliper before the center of the rim reaches the hub. i need spacers, but 25mm spacers cant be healthy on the bearings and hub can they?? and how long must the bolts be??
With 25mm spacers the centre of the wheel will be the same as with ET35 so I don't think you'll have any extra problems on the wheel bearings. Just depends if you want to run great big spacers and 60mm long bolts or 2 sets of bolts... not my thing as you've got twice as many bolts to come undone. Might be better to sell off the wheels you've refurbed and get some that are the correct fitment.

I think illtry the 60mm bolts... As jamo sais. twiece as many bolts to come undone. Or has anybody got anything else to add?? All tips and trix are welcome.
Why?? IIRC the thread on the standard bolts is aprox 40mm maybe 45, and if i get 20-25mm spacers, i should only need 20-25mm longer bolts right?? im not going with the bolt on with built in studs spacers...
Because it's not the same for a stud for bolt length as you need extra for the nuts to screw onto, with bolts the length is the length of the thread alone not the complete length with the body ( nut section )
For 15 mm spacers you need 65mm studs therefore you'd need 75mm studs for 25mm spacers.
Well se what happens. I have got 25mm spacers without studs now to see if it will fit. if it looks right then we will se what my definate sollution will be. thanks for everyones help!
