How do you know it isn't an S2 coupe with the RS2 bumper, etc.

If it showed the avant body, I wouldn't be arguing.

I would call that a confirmed sighting. It looks like RS Blau to me though.

But it is a motor show, so the car is not necessarily a production model.

No, I think it might be a prototype of some sort, but that's diffinitely a RS2.

Why would Audi come with a RS2 bodied coupe til the 1993 Motorshow at Earls Court, in London.

When they only build them in Avant's and 2 or 4 prototype limo's "sedan's"

Furthermore it's not possible to fit a Porsche Cup 1 wheel 5x130 on the standard S2 hubs which are 5x112. And that's a genuine Porsche Cup 1 Wheel 5x130 in the video clip. And the reason im so sure about that is, because i have owned one for nearly 8 years and it's less than 4 meters from where im sitting right now.

You missed the point. I never said it wasn't an RS2 prototype. What I said was the view of the fender and the wheel was not conclusive evidence. It required an assumption/presumption. (Maybe I watch too many crime dramas and am thinking like a defence lawyer/barrister).

Prove it to me 100% by showing a full picture of an RS2 at the 1993 Earl's Court show and you win.

You missed the point. I never said it wasn't an RS2 prototype. What I said was the view of the fender and the wheel was not conclusive evidence. It required an assumption/presumption. (Maybe I watch too many crime dramas and am thinking like a defence lawyer/barrister).

Just to be clear, the "Z" before the "TZ" is just the check sum code for the VIN. The second "Z" = Zuffenhausen. Here is an example RS2 build sticker from a 1994 RS2 (RZ = 1994 model year built in Zuffenhausen):

Yes it is. We tried to figure it out but until you find your paper build tag (with all the codes), we don't know what is up with your RS2. Find it and I will be more than pleased to attempt to figure it all out.

i'll have another dig around in the leather wallet. there is nothing in the wheel well so it could just stay an unsolved mystery

Something like this photo of a build tag in the warranty book would be your best hope. Otherwise there should be a paper sheet up under the dash.
