Time to have a clear out and concentrate on my RS2.

It does indeed mate, going to turn the conservatory into a second sitting room/gym.
Haven't forgotten about the Corrado by the way, however things keep stopping me from getting to it, still I know your in no hurry.

Heya Sidrick, thanks very much, now I'm on a roll with a goal ahead of me I'm rapidly getting back into the stride of things, though I am still taking it easy. Once I get my workshop arranged to my satisfaction I'll be able to see exactly what I have. Am considering having an open day for members to come and see what I've got tucked away as well as chat about cars. If I time it right there's space for few cars here so as long as the folk in the holiday cottage next door aren't about, parking up a handful of S2's should be no problem. Could turn it in to a mini meeting then go a blast on some of the cracking roads around here.
I'm trying to be careful and Greg has said I'm going to have my selling privileges restored on here once he has a chat with the other Admins. I'm not going to hassle the though.
I really need to get rid of stuff as I badly need the space, and it makes sense to try and sell it now as I'm sorting through everything. I'm not just flogging stuff for the money, I'm doing as good as deals as I can on stuff to forum members.
I'm allowed to list items on Classic Audi and given the crossover between the two sites I seem to be getting a fair amount of interest, I hate using eBay as their fee's stink make items more expensive for buyers. Though I do have a dozen or so items currently listed on there.
I also have a self imposed rule of not selling more than six items a week that require posting as I have to walk cycle to my nearest post office., in fact I'd rather keep it just four, as I have to avoid stress.
I don't mind if folk want to pay via regular payment but would much rather if buyers can collect, especially with the big heavy stuff, that said I will send large items if the buyer works with me and helps arrange a courier. I almost exclusively use Royal mail these days, their prices are competitive, stuff turns up on time as well as not getting damaged.1990 B3 2.0 80 quattro.

I've just listed a load of stuff for sale over on Classic Audi with photos, all sorts from oil lines to complete sets of rims, thought I'd let folk on here know as most of it is S2/RS2 orientated.1990 B3 2.0 80 quattro.

It's not hard to join up over there, not even sure you need to be a member to view for sale threads.
I don't want to post pic's or details on here in case it pisses the admins off.
If there's any part you need just ask and if I can help I'll know pretty much straight away.

Also found a complete set of S2 Coupe/B3 Coupe black leather front door cards, the early type.
Trim and foam still very stable om the fronts, the rears are a bit loose but once the trim strips are installed they will be fine £100 ONO.Last edited by K Simmonds; 14 April 2022, 22:05.1990 B3 2.0 80 quattro.

You are very lucky having a workshop like that at home, I've got a workshop but it's some 20 miles from home, although it stops me spending all my time there...?Comment

I know mate, hence being down there at 03.00 the other night, my tools are 90% sorted and I'm making good headway into the parts, the Corrado is still sat waiting for a wash, but I know you're in no hurry and I have to concentrate on sorting out my work area first.
Going to make a Coffee table out of my old NG block and some seats out of C4 items, got an early black leather rear bench which would make a great two seater sofa and a four black Velour single seats I could make nice subframes for.
They're going to be for my now clear conservatory, was thinking about what to do with them today as they're not worth much so making furniture kills two birds with one stone.
Just got to find a half decent multi gym for in there then, got sounds sorted with a nice set of vintage technics separates.

Making progress slowly, I'm still trying to organize parts before touching cars, slowly getting all the parts on the shelfs sorted into logical boxes. Then I've the attic to tackle and there's all kinds of rare parts hiding up there! Going to take it a easy this afternoon and hoover off the 100 as well as the whole workshop as it's very dusty. Will hopefully post more photos this evening.

Didn't finish in workshop until gone 22.00 last night, it's looking good down stairs though now, hoovered everywhere including the Audi 100 so that looks a bit less sorry for itself.
Now I'm breaking the 30V C4 I'm going to use the springs off that as they're in much better condition and I think their the sporty version. Also plan on retro fitting the air-con system as I was amazed to find it still works in that 30V even now, so I'll be get the the early A6 type heater controls and loads more walnut trim which is growing on me the more I look at it. Must be an age thing, next thing I'll know I'll have a national trust sticker on the windscreen.
Oh yeah forgot to say I took the cats of that 30V expecting a nice pay out only to discover they've been gutted, which irked me somewhat as I'd have gotten a lot of money for them.
