Thanks folks, been a strange and scary week but home and recovering and crucially can feel most things again which is a relief. Woke on Monday with barely any feeling in my legs and unable to move myself. Diagnosed with Cauda Equine Syndrome/CES and a fair bit of pressure to correctly diagnose then operate to avoid permanent nerve damage and bodily function loss. Was on the operating table on Tuesday morning and after 4hr op seemingly in pretty good shape again. Was up and out of bed with physio on Wednesday morning and home by end of day. Now 4-6 weeks of recovery and about 8 weeks of physio but very much a relieved man. I may well acyually get the s2 back on the road again after all for irony the new roose hoses arrived yesterday!
