Very sad day today, my giant schauzer, Bart became very poorly quickly. His lungs were shafted.
The hardest thing I have ever had to deal with.
He will be missed massively.
Could've filled a rad with what has so far streamed from my eyes.

been through similar at a very young age when we had to watch our german sheapard's last moments at our country house, and she went away so that we wouldnt see her pass away... terrible memories..

Sorry to hear that mate. Had to do the same on 13 September and I am still crying now from it at random. Hardest and worst thing I ever had to do. I still can't move her belongings out. Thank god for having my other dog still as he helps to fill the void. It is heart breaking seeing him run off to other golden retrievers thinking it may be her though and then seeing the disappointment on his face. Worst thing is her sister from the same litter who is almost identical still lives next door to me and I see her regularly struggling to walk around.
