    Goodye RS2, hello...?

Actually I feel quite gutted that I have just sold my RS2 but it has gone to a good home. When I took the buyer out for a test drive the car performed brilliantly with so much power and torque that it is quite amazing for a 2.2L engine that is knocking on 25 years old. So instead of buying and old British ragtop classic I am wondering about a 10 year old R8 4.2L. I checked out the specs and it could probably just about keep up with my RS2. I know it's not the right forum for this topic but does any member have experience of that model in terms of performance, problems, maintenance etc.
Would appreciate a steer on this
    Thanks

    Cheers
