Coupe colour change. Advice/Views!

Hi all! Would appreciate a few opinions if that’s ok. I’m having a full repaint on my 94 coupe in the next few months, as it has a few car park knocks and scuffs & rusty front wings (managed to get a pair from TPS this week)
Its plain blue atm LY5K. Looks pretty drab and boring so was thinking of giving it a full colour change to a pearl blue?? I really like Estoril blue.
Would i be making a massive mistake and totally de-valuing my car? I’m not planning on selling it at all, as i love it and only bought it last year. Just don’t want to potentially ruin it even though i think it would look great!

I dont think it would de- value it much, thats even if it does at all. Its your car, so whatever colour you want it to be go for it. Aslong as you dont decide to go with pink lol. just my 2pence worth.

I want my car to give me as much pleasure as it can so I will be changing colour as well and I don't care what will happen in the 5 or 10 years time .I can't imagine respray the car in the colour I don't like just to keep the paper work ok.

Sepang blue is nice or the dark pearl blue that is a coupe' colour, mine is Byzance purple which I love the choice is vast

I’ve got a mint S3 in Ming blue as my daily which is nice in the sun, but almost looks black otherwise, so fancy a slightly different blue on the S2 i think.

Yes I think there was a separate code for the official 'lifestyle' byzanz purple. I'm just going to keep it to what ever is on the sticker under the boot!
