This is the V6 Cabby I just repaired and my son is driving at the moment.
So he said to me today that the water warning came on last night but there was water in the header tank.
We went and had a look and the header tank was empty.
Poured in some water and it immediately started dripping from one of the heater hoses at the back of the engine bay.
Turns out the two bolts holding the inner ends of the track rods have rubbed through the pipe!
So I’m trying to work out if this is due something bent on the rack from the accident ( the LH track rod ball joint was broken) or the back of the motor had dropped causing the rack movement to interfere with the pipe.
Here’s some pics.
