How is the throttle cable held to the bulkhead? I need to remove it to make a repair but it won’t come away from the bulkhead and I’m going to break something if I lever any harder. Feels like it’s clipped in but can’t get to the back to release it.
I feel like after all this time I should know this!
And I’ve just skinned my knuckles!
It is barbed and can be a ****** to get off, you have to push it to one side and release the locking tab, then push it across to the other side and repeat. If it’s been ragged about before it often makes it harder to get off

I’ll have another go in daylight, I’ve pulled the cable outer and the support grommet off so just the plastic bit stuck in the firewall, horrible job, so difficult to get to, sometimes I hate Audi
Still it should be easier replacing the whole thing, last time I just replaced the inner and it took me hours to feed it through from the inside, totally blind ...
As Alex says there are two locking tabs, one on each side. If you feel up from the inside behind the pedal box you might be able to squeeze them inwards, they are both flat and should be horizontally opposite each other. Then wiggle it from side to side from the engine bay side until one gives. Good luck!
