Metallic smell

Hello,

I have a problem with weird hard to explain smell. It's not fish, fuel, more like metallic or exhaust fumes (cant see any smoke, or tracks on the windscreen). I checked everything witch my mechanic and cant find any leaks (

any ideas what it might be?

My bet is heater matrix

If it's a slightly sweet smell, I would guess heater matrix too.

Unfortunately no leaks on it

My friend told me that it wont gonna be heater Matrix because there are no leaks also and coolant stays in the same level. Wrrrrr Out of ideas.

I Notice that when I am driving fast it getting worse and after while I can feel my lungs are verry heavy. Its definatly exhaust fumes but how the **** they getting there....

Is it an Avant? I had exhaust in the cabin on one of my Avants, the air vent behind the rear bumper was damaged on one side and exhaust was getting sucked into the car.
Might be similar design on coupe..

thx will definitely check it (I have Avant ABY) but i cant see any smoke or mist inside of the car....just smell wrrr

Same here, no smoke but very smelly.
And worse when the window open!

Other thing it might be is battery overcharging, is voltage ok? Not too high?
