    Changes to 7zap.com.

One of our favourite parts reference sites just got an an unwelcome update that now requires you to register and log in before you can "applicabilty" and "aftermarket" alternative sources. I hope they drop that as I certainly won't be registering any time soon.

I'd noticed that too, I use it now and again to get part numbers for ebay searches but don't think I can justify 49 euros a year just for that?!

What a shame, I’ve noticed it was becoming tricky to use unless you registered. Are there any alternatives?

It's very annoying. I spent many hours on the site when 're building my Avant. Not planning on paying either

            Yes, it's very annoying.
I seem to remember larsaskogstad had very helpfully created a mirror of the site for times when the main site was down, this would be perfect for us it would have everything we need before the "upgrade".
I can't seem to find any reference to it on here at the moment though, hopefully Lars will see this post.

I use Audi > ETKA Online > WebAutoCats.com and it works fine.

I'm working on a new ETKA (mostly for myself, but I will register a domain and publish it when its done).
It will only be for 3B and ABY and I've took out all the info regarding non-s2 to make it more neat and tidy.

it will have some added feats like "copy to clipboard" on part number (which will save it as a whole number, ex: 000111222A instead of 000 111 222 A .
I find it more easy to look up parts through google and what not.

It will have feat so the overview image inside category of lets say an Engine will be on left side of the screen and part numbers / tables on right side for easier navigation.

WIll mainly be for desktop but will make it appear okay on mobile as well.
