Ok, best not to ask what I was doing looking at videos of turbocharged bikes on YouTube, but...

Still can't work out how on earth these guys survive for more than 5mins after sticking a turbo on an already insanely fast bike

OMG - That is insane... I've seen lots of in-car footage before on tarmac rallies including the IOM but I have never seen the scenery go past as quickly as that. Jees one tiny mistake there and you are a dead man.

I did once drive round the circuit - can't remember how much of it is speed restricted, but we were just cruising around with the traffic - just before the Manx Rally. It took us over an hour I think. Then when someone says the bikes do it in less than 20mins you just can't get your head around it. Just mental...

I don't think it's in the US either.

As to the TT stuff, watching that actually makes me feel ill. Far too many lethal things like roadsigns, kerbs, yellow lines and corners of buildings going past at insane speed - no wonder people die on the TT so regularly, in fact it's a miracle more don't! You must need balls of steel to do that/ be clinically insane (or both)...

Those turbocharged bikes seem to have far too much torque!

This is how we Gloucester boys do it, first run running approx 450 with biggup turbo, swing arm etc on brockworth bypass. road straigntens up around the 1min 16 mark but it just spins up to 180mph +

Exactly, that RS2 gives as good as he can, but the speed at which bike boy goes past him is somewhat alarming
