I gave Admiral a call just to confirm my insurance was ok for me to drive the car tomorrow. "Yes Mr Smith i'll just ask you a few security questions, D.O.B, postcode" you get the picture, the gentlemen on the other end of the phone goes through my details, no problems all is well. Then we come to payment ah ha!!! I asked if he wanted my card details, but he said no as they were already on "The system", i was pretty annoyed to find out the my own credit card details had been sitting on Admirals for a year when the premium had been paid in full. I wish i had paid by cheque. My point is where and who has access to such personal info.
Very worrying when lots of peoples information goes missed these days.Comment

I'm paying £860 FC, through Elephant, I'm 22 and in a semi-rural location. No-one else will come close. Oddly enough performance Audi's are so much cheaper to insure than equivalent BMW's, anyone know why?

Because BMW drivers try to drive their M3's and 330's in the wet and the laws of physics take over, and generally all ends in tears
, thus making their premiums go up.
Only joking, i have no idea why good question though? IMHO a BMW is more likely to be stolen than an Audi!!!Comment

Thats wrong Smithy under data protection they shouldnt have those details if youve payed in full. After the transactions and authorization taken place your details should have been erased or destroyed if on paper. I just rejigged my insurance yesterday to allow for another car coming along in a week or so. The S2 was on my main policy with 3 years NCB which was £530 but has been put onto my daily driver policy with no NCB and it is now £1100, although that will go down in August. I'm 23 with car on driveway all mods declared and unlimited mileage. Not too bad I thought. That is all through Adrian Flux.Comment
