There's a lot of factors which affect insurance quotes - so a company which is good for one person, could be terrible for the next, as things like age & postcode are very big factors with them!

However, I find Admiral are the best for me at the moment, 24yr old, F* rated postcode (worst there is! Although actually a nice area of town I'm in) 0 points, garaged & alarned etc. fully declared mods, 3yrs NCB, held license 4 yrs, valued at £7k, with my Mother as a 2nd driver (48, license since 17, 0 points, full NCB) and it costs £600 fully comp. with a £350 excess. Compared to a friends Evo4, almost identical info as myself, he's paying £2100 f/c (the fool) and another friend with a TVR 4.0 Chimaera is looking to be paying around £900 f/c. So it seems the S2 is a cheap motor...

Also your job title is a big factor too, I work in a prison and some places will only accept Prison Officer or Warden as a prison title, but as I'm neither that's not a fair deal for me, so playing on some online sites I found that Civil Servant - Clerical (which I am, as I work in an office within the Civil Service!) saved me £85 over being listed as an Officer and they're fine with that!

I've found Greenlight quite good. £6k value, all mods declared and the option of track day insurance and I'm 25 living near Bristol, £570.
