Only joking, i have no idea why good question though? IMHO a BMW is more likely to be stolen than an Audi!!!
I think thats the only factor, is the theft aspect of it.

I was considering getting an S8 a while back and I came across a nice E34 M5, both had the same power but the M5 was twice the amount to insure.

Going round the insurance loop at the moment...
Greenlight: c. £550 (with optional track day cover at £50 per time)
      Adrian Flux: c. £620
Bell Direct: wouldn't cover - "too many modifications"
Sky Insurance: didn't answer the phone
Premium Choice: too stupid - I hung up in frustration at the moron on the phone
      Ck.
Shocked, exhausted, hosed, bushed, dumped, chipped, mounted, filtered, gauged, packed, intermittantly wiped and braked. I mean broken. Now, about the car...

No one can get close to Adrian Flux for me, so it looks like it'll be them:

          S2 Avant
          Big front brakes
Value 4,500 (optimistic but gives you bargaining power!)
          TPFT
          2 x claims in 2004
23 y.o. (to the day) with 1 year's NCB (although they agreed to match my 4yrs on the other car)

          £490
          1994 Audi S2 Avant - in pieces
2006 Skoda Octavia vRS 2.0TFSi - goes fast
          1985 Audi 90 quattro - is wet
