Thanks to you all, I hope things will work out ok but I am not too proud to take on supposedly less interesting work (trust me, 90% of motorsport work is mundane!)

Sorry to hear this - my company is currently going through the consultation process for making redundancies and it's an awful time for everybody; I'm sure you'll end up on you feet though, these things are always opportunities - good luck!
