YEP! had it about 9 months or so - its good, fittings weren't PCL type so I changed them and the accesories are pants - but the actual compressor is a good bit of kit

9.5cfm displacement is very good for less than 100 quid !!!!!

I paid more than that for a wee Clarke compressor that does 6.5cfm - thats about the minimum for any air tool use in your own garage. Certainly not enough for high quality paintwork or running multiple air tools in a larger workshop.

Even if it dies after a year - at £99 sounds OK - I would spend the extra and get quick release connections if you plan to use several tools with it though - and don't forget a pressure regulator and oiler as well.

Yep - decent pressure reg is a must (its nice to be able to do leak down tests now) and thats why I changed to PCL's - so that I can attach air tools, inflator, blow gun etc etc

Talking of which - Can you recommend a good leak-down test kit... Looked at some ages ago but couldn't make my mind up - should have saved some links. D'Oh

hmm, well there's a choice here.
I've had 3. The first was poor quality so sold it, the second is very good quality (and is for sale). BUT the 3rd is one I made myself for about £25-£30.
I can post some pics of the one I want to sell and the one I made myself if you like?
