Does anyone know where I could get a cheap but accurate sound meter? Or does anyone know of a place I could get the car tested in either the Inverness or Glasgow (or anywhere in between that will be a fun drive)? Wanting to do some track days this year and don't want to get turned away before I even get on track!

    Thanks in advance!

Louder the better! UK rallying is 100db max but they use that as a minimum on forgien events.

Thanks, that's just jogged my mind, I think I know someone that was showing me their phone and saying something about it having a sound meter. I might give that a bash.

I have just purchased a small dB meter on ebay, got it on BIN at £9.99 including p&p, very good service from a small m/bike shop in Somerset, I think, just searched on the bay for decibel meter.
          Hope this helps
