def take it easy as long as you can mate. i had it on and off for months with tonsillitis many years ago and ended up having the tonsils out. bassrds gave me crunchy toast and scalding hot tea. no sign of ice cream for 19 year olds apparently.
just play for as much sympathy as you can off everyone you know.

              No kissing
              No contact sports
              No alcohol

Never mind, it could be worse. If I could only recall the name of what that could be.....

alcohol usually leads to kissing and "contact sports" so I'm a bit phooked (or not) there then... Got to the stage where I can't have a sinle beer without feeling shyte!

Hey Andy aren't you that dead ringer for the guy off Bo Selecta?

I hope it doesn't get serious enough to wear a neckbrace.

So here we are, been off work 6 months, still not right and no real end in sight, slightly demoralising but I suppose you take what you're given and deal with it as best you can, as my Mum kindly pointed out, "you're not dying!" Hope not anyway, that'd be pants. Docs aren't too sure what's up but it's been going on for a while now, they suspect a virus but I'll never really know, am now looking a chronic fatigue syndrom if you want to put a label on things. Basically it's like being hungover all the time and the bitch of it is that I can't really drink

On the plus side I've now got lots of toys for the car but they're sat in a cupboard and I'm not really driving it much...

Sounds like you need to get a grip, you slacker!

                              JOKE!!!

I hope things turn around for you Andy - it's not something in your immediate environment is it? Have you tried taking a decent length break somewhere away from home to see if you feel re-energised? Not the easiest thing to do I grant you, but must be worth a shot after this length of time.

Failing that, get yourself over to the Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital and have Hugh Laurie take a look at you!

Andy, have you had your thyroid function tested?

Wouldn't be the first time that's been mis-diagnosed....
