The one shortened stud is for the stud hole that leads to the oil check valve.

Any way of finding out just a part number for one stud...maybe cheaper than the kit? if you order X quantity.Carlos.

We put together the main stud kit ourselves, there's no ARP listing for it. The shortened stud we do ourselves as well, as there's not a standard shorter stud with the proper thread setups.
We sell these kits complete day in and day out, makes it a lot easier than piece mailing everything

Wasn't there a post elsewhere stated that the ARP main bolts from a Ford Mustang engine of some sort fitted up a treat - and were cheaper. Maybe I'm imagining that.

Not really the point here but fair play.We put together the main stud kit ourselves, there's no ARP listing for it. The shortened stud we do ourselves as well, as there's not a standard shorter stud with the proper thread setups.

Arrow uk, are listing a product for the Audi 5 Clyinder that does not fit. They will have to address this problem, just going to have to shout louder so they get the point!

I believe ARP are now going to redesign them with Terrybullwon.
What I don't understand is why ARP haven't got the correct design if they are making them for 034?
It's a weird and wonderful world

I think MarkH used a Ford Zetec kit which were longer. AFAIK that was only for the torque plate he fitted to the bottom of the block.91CQ20v - Gone to a new home

Do You guys measure, if the bearing shells stay round, when tightening these to ARP Specs?
Also, I have always used ARP thick washers and normal industrial 12.9 hex bolts. Fraction of the price of ARP, still worked like charm, even in pretty high horsepower motors.Everything less than 2 bar is considered to be naturally aspiratedComment

I have just ordered the component parts with washers and nuts for the main caps and will let you know how much this costs and how well they fit. If all OK I'll either get ARP to put a kit together or post the individual part numbers.Comment

Just to close this thread.
Still dealing with Arrow atm, they have left a very bitter taste in my mouth. Months of chasing them and getting the part numbers for them. I got some studs that i have sent on to another forum member now as mine came from 034.
Arrow seem to be very unorganised and slow. Full of promises and not much else. I will never use them again, if you can buy from some where else... Do so.
