(I don't blame KR and RK for stopping because they would have been DQ for passing the red also ...I'm not sure what Nico's excuse is, he followed in like a banger driver!!)

If you were filling out an insurance claim being taken from behind pretty much means its not your fault
I do think the penalty is a little harsh, that said there is technically no excuse for Hamilton. But as Raikkonen said, "Obviously, anyone can make mistakes".
The bit that did make me grin was recalling Hamilton in the pre-race interviews talking about the accident his father had earlier in the week, and laughing about "how did his dad manage to have an accident at 30mph?"
Massa and Fisichella (i think) were DQ last year for leaving when the pit lane exit lights were red.S2Forum.com AdministratorComment

Yes..... that's right could have happened to any "driver"....
Infact we call the guys that are driving a Formula 1 car........PILOTS
I must say that Hamilton probably does'nt like at all the pit lane......
In particular the first part of it (where he can do all by himself.... and loosing a championship) and the very last part of the pit...... where he wants to make his way trough....... in any way!
There must be a topic issue in Hamilton's family around the 30 mph
Kimi (who's the WorldChampion...) fairplay on the circumstance was simply..... brilliant!
a block of ice....... against the sundaydriver running late for the tea....

I wonder what kind of IAT was at Kimi's intake. Damn exhaust failure.

Great race at Silverstone today and a fantastic drive by Lewis Hamilton. It was also good to see three different constructors on the podium, and well done to Rubens and Honda.
What happened to Ferrari?
I suppose even the FIA can't help Ferrari when it comes to driving in the rain LOL.
Shame Heikki Kovalainen couldn't maintain his pace, but a great day for Mclaren

Is was really stupid for ferrari not change the tires on the first pitstop to Kimi, same goes to Alonso. They both lost the race there.
No clue what the hell was Massa doing, spent more time out of the track than on it.
Good race from Hamilton, no mistakes.

Great drive by hamilton in a class of his own today. I thought kimi could have given him a race but for some reason ferrari did not change the tyres at the first pitstop , could have been kimis call? I dont know what massa was doing awful today. Hamilton for the championship now.sigpicComment
