Superb GP for Hamilton even after a poor tactical choice by MacLaren... Great for Piquet too, if a little lucky

I was there today for my stag weekend (still here in a bar LOL) what agreat weekend, (including a tour around the paddock area this morning) saw the qualifying and the race.

Really enjoyed it, those cars are very impressive and the boy did the business.

At least today the ruling was applied in an even-handed sense and Massa was penalized - as he should have been in Valencia.

Not his fault but everyone should abide by the rules.

Another ridiculously bad race from ferrari.

Enjoyable race to watch though. A visually impressive racetrack too, some of the helicopter shots were amazing.

Notice how he only gets a penalty when he has no chance of winning so it doesn't matter Coincidence I know, the conspiracy theorists will be all over that one

Do you think Massa will try to blame Sutil AGAIN like he did in Valencia? What will be his excuse this time.....'He should have known I would be pulling out and should have stopped to let me out as I am in a Ferrari' Is it me or should Massa drive a bus with that attitude?

Surely now if Ferrari don't remove that stupid and frankly dangerous traffic light system it will have to be banned. They are managing to hurt a mechanic at every GP now - so the FIA will have to act before Ferrari run out of mechanics

                            Cheers n

lets all gang up against ferrari and lets make it an international manufacture and driver vendetta

There was reference to the refueler having a button to press that shows he is ready, and remarks made that he must have pressed it inadvertently (or something along those lines).

However, when the lollipop is used by other teams, one person is responsible for releasing the car.

Shouldn't that also be the case for Ferrari? One person operates the green light, just that they're not standing near the front of the car.

I'm inclined to agree that they should be made to sort it or stop using it. I have nothing against innovation but usually, it is used to improve performance - not the opposite!
