One of the lads on Tyresmoke has a VW Caddy with a 2.7T S4 engine in the back, RWD. Used to be a 1.8T until he made a hole in the side of the engine

He also has a Mazda B2200 with a V8 in it and air or hydraulic suspension, can't remember which.
    1994 Audi S2 Avant - in pieces
2006 Skoda Octavia vRS 2.0TFSi - goes fast
    1985 Audi 90 quattro - is wet

Don't forget the East Midlands Meet -Last Tuesday of every month at 7:30pm just off M1 J28!![/COLOR]

I'm currently thinking hard about converting a US spec B4 ('95) 90q (V6) to AAN power, S2 grill, bumpers, valence, bigger wheels, brakes etc. I'm looking forward to learning more about S2s and RS2s and what kind of Euro parts I'll need for my project. I'll do a quickie intro on myself on another thread but my toy is currently an 84 urquattro with a 3B motor, somewhat RS2'd and about to go coil on plug soon.

Still think one of the best projects would be to do a space frame s2 like

There's gotta be quite a bit of weight to loose from the s2 shell.

Do something slightly different with it, providing you can sort the box etc why not put it in something like a beemer or even cut/modify the floor pan and slap it in a mk4 escort, i've been tempted to do that a few times.

Lol well I personally don't mind either escorts or sapphires as i've owned a few and I found they was easy to work on/modify and could be quite interesting when done.

Seriously tempted to get one as a daily when the s2 comes off the road.

What car was you thinking of? ever thought about putting the 7a engine into a scimitar (if you can find a good one) as they have a nice engine bay size (once you remove the spare wheel and are rear wheel drive.

                              1969 and RWD.....
Gearbox and axle are the only two points of concern...

But i digress, my quattro is THE most important project at moment lol. And its costing me alot...
