Phone QST and ask them for any info they wish to /can impart on the car, they helped myself with a recent (2008) similar request, although I found one or two of their mistakes on the car, but let's not muddy the waters.

That was for sale for ages a year or so back (maybe 2 ) Looks great and good spec. That price is rather good too

This one belonged to Barry Mason about 4 years ago IIRC. It was well known to a lot of forum members. He was asking for £13k+ back then, but I think that was some sort of joke.

used to have a vented c/f bonnet, but can't really see from pics if it's still on it

It still has the CF bonnet in the pics, I remember lots of people poking fun at it at Combe. I remember it got cracked in the top O/S corner, probably when the Volvo drove into it in 2004. It's a 3B IIRC and had a 'MTM strengthened' 5 speed, which probably just means Barry paid KC a load of £ for a stock 'box.

Is it a '93 or a '92? It used to be on a J plate.

I thought it looked like a 3B. Must have been registered late to be on a '93 plate. It does look tatty in those pics doesn't it...

Yeh certainly I would not spend my money on that car and I would walk away stevieyid.

There are better base cars that could be upgraded to a better spec for less money.
