My mate swears by the 10w40 in his 306 rallye track car, was put onto it by a local rally driver up here who uses it in his 6r4. I use Silkolene though.

          Hi,

10w50 is the accepted best grade of oil for the S2 in standard or modified form. The 5w40 is a little thin for our type of engine.

Check the oil thread by Oilman (Opie Oils) for more info....

          Cheers,

          Steve.

The reason i ask is are lass's dad has set up a website selling oil and he specialises in Miller oil. I'm thinking of setting up a group buy or something if i can get enough interest. He is cheaper than the oil man (as he doesn't stock Miller) plus he is doing all the additives, gearbox oils and diff oils. So if anybody is interested let me know........post up or PM. I can see what i can do:mischeif: His site has only been up a week or so. There is going to be quite a few tweeks (making it easier to use) to it including a section where you can select your car and it will recomend what oil you need.
